Our Story
Our founder Aditya is a seasoned technology and business leader with 15+ years of experience at Fortune 200 companies like Amazon (6 years) and Salesforce (7 years) across USA and Australia. He grew from a junior engineer to a Senior Manager within 10 years and he did this while achieving an "Exceeds" rating more than 80% of time. He has held roles in product, engineering, Strategy, Operations, GTM Delivery, Marketing and Customer Success. His passion and purpose lies in people development and has helped over 50 individuals with real impact to their career from job changes to pivots to promotions leading to higher pay and/or greater fulfilment.

Why and how did Call Your Shots Coaching (CYS) get created?
Despite the amazing growth and glamorous projects, I enjoyed people development as a former people manager and a corporate mentor more than anything else and found it extremely rewarding. My dad spent at least 20 years giving back to the community and he inspired me to help others. Hence I decided to build a practice dedicated to helping professionals build meaningful careers and one that is completely aligned to their interests and abilities.

What can I expect from the first session?It will be focused on your background and experience and any specific challenge that you have. I will suggest and provide some solutions that you can immediately take action on so you get value straightaway.

If I want to work with you, what does that look like?I follow a Pay as you go model. I don’t lock people into programs but for best results, at least 6 sessions are recommended. I also assess player coach fit to make sure I can truly be helpful else I am happy to recommend other fellow coaches and mentors.

Do you have a module by module approach?I follow a hybrid model. I have a methodical approach to helping my clients starting with a deep discovery, profile building, job application strategies etc but my clients can also raise specific things they are facing and we can pivot the conversation accordingly.

What are your rates?I do this for passion and purpose over profit so I don’t charge $200-300 industry rates. My pricing is nominal and I will work out a 20% discount if you decide to sign up for the 6 sessions. Reach out to learn more.

How is group coaching different from 1:1 coaching?Group coaching offers shared learning with peers who face similar challenges like “Finding your first job in Australia” or “interviewing best practices”. It’s interactive, community-driven, and focuses on key themes like networking and storytelling.

How does sponsorship work?We understand that you need help talking to the right people which is especially hard if you don’t have a big and powerful network. That’s where we come in. Sponsorship includes referrals, introductions to people in my network, and strategic visibility. It’s designed to help open real doors in your career journey.

What If I stop and then want to resume again?This is perfectly okay. Depending on your career journey, you can work with me for sometime and then when you’re faced with other challenges, you can connect back with me again.
